At Providence, you’ll find a casual, traditional style of worship that is welcoming, meaningful, and centered on Christ. Our sanctuary is a comfortable place to gather, with cushioned chairs and room to move, making it easy for people of all ages to feel at home.

In our increasingly digital world, we believe there is something beautiful about setting aside time each week to be fully present with God and with one another. You won’t find screens in our worship space as we invite you to simply be present, to open your heart, and to join in worship together without distraction.

During worship, we sing beloved hymns, pray together, recite the Apostles’ Creed, and on the first Sunday of each month, we share in Holy Communion. Each week, our pastor shares a message rooted in Scripture and connected to the joys, challenges, and questions of everyday life.

Whether worship is familiar to you or you are joining us for the first time, you don’t need to know all the words or have everything figured out. Come as you are, and experience the grace of God in a community where you are welcome.

Come as you are! At Providence, we want you to feel comfortable and welcome, not worried about what you’re wearing.

On a typical Sunday, you’ll see people dressed in everything from jeans and T-shirts to dress pants and a sports coat. Wear whatever helps you feel most at home, we’re more concerned about getting to know you than what you wear.

Don’t worry as you won’t have to figure it out on your own! Our friendly greeters will be waiting to welcome you, answer any questions you may have, and help you find your way to worship, the nursery, or wherever you need to go. We’re here to make your first visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

Children are an important part of our church family, and we’re delighted to welcome them each Sunday!

Kids are always welcome to remain in worship with their families. One of the highlights of each service is our Children’s Moment, when children are invited to the front of the sanctuary for a brief message created just for them (though adults enjoy it too!).

Following the Children’s Moment, children ages 3 through 2nd grade are invited to Children’s Worship, where they will hear Bible stories, enjoy hands-on activities, and build friendships in a fun, age-appropriate environment. They return to the sanctuary before the end of the service to rejoin their families.

A nursery is available during worship for infants through age 3. For your child’s safety, all nursery-aged children are checked in and out by a parent or legal guardian.

Providence is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for every child. As a Safe Sanctuaries® church, all of our children’s ministries follow the policies and procedures of The United Methodist Church to help ensure the safety and well-being of every child in our care.
